He then spent eight years as a Level 4 before being promoted to Level 3\, where he spent a further four years before deciding to take the specialist Assistant Referee pathway.He spent a single season as an Assistant at Panel Select level in the National League before being promoted. He is now in his sixth season as a National List Assistant Referee on the EFL. He is also a qualified Mental Health Champion on behalf of the PGMOL.
